Dr. Bahar Salarvand's doctoral dissertation, from Lorestan University, was selected as the demand-driven, outstanding dissertation in society and industry for the year 1404.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, on Monday, December 14th of the current year, in a ceremony attended by Dr. Abtahi, Deputy Minister of Research of the Ministry of Science, and Dr. Seif, Director General of the Office of Industry Relations of this Ministry, the author of the dissertation, Dr. Bahar Salarvand, was honored in the Persian Gulf Conference Hall located in the Tehran International Exhibition on Tuesday, December 14th, 1404.
Dr. Bahar Salarvand's doctoral dissertation, entitled "Factors Affecting the Components of Blue Economy and Its Impact on Iran's Sustainable Economic Growth," was prepared under the guidance of Dr. Ali Hasanvand, a faculty member of the Economics Department of Lorestan University.
This valuable research was commissioned and supported by the National Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences as the employer and has been able to attract the attention of the judges and officials with a practical approach based on the real needs of the country.
The selection of this dissertation as the outstanding work indicates Lorestan University's attention to problem-oriented research and the needs of industry and society and is an effective step towards strengthening the link between the university, industry, and the country's executive agencies.
Appreciation of top researchers is part of the Ministry of Science's policies to promote a culture of applied research and strengthen effective communication between scientific centers and various economic and industrial sectors of the country.
