To enhance students' practical skills: Workshop on Introduction to EndNote Reference Management Software Held

On the occasion of Research and Technology Week, and in line with enhancing students' practical skills during their studies, the Faculty of Literature and Humanities of Lorestan University held a student workshop on familiarization with the Endnote referencing software, taught by Dr. Hossein Nabavi-Nik, a faculty member of the Department of Physical Education (Sports Sciences) at Lorestan University.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, it was stated in this workshop:
"Endnote software is one of the practical tools in the field of scientific resource management that assists researchers in organizing, storing, and citing articles, books, and other scientific resources.
This software enables the categorization of resources, automatic generation of bibliographies, and citation in various scientific styles, helping to reduce the time spent on resource management and eliminate potential errors.
The mentioned software provides greater accuracy and coherence to scientific documentation in the process of writing articles, theses, and research projects.
In the workshop, the main features of Endnote software were introduced theoretically, and then, practical training on using its various sections was provided to the students.
To simplify the concepts, the key points of the software were explained in a comprehensive and practical manner.
The examination of common user errors when using the software was allocated, and practical solutions for resolving these errors are among the important topics."
At the end of the workshop, Dr. Hossein Nabavi-Nik answered the students' questions.
